2023 Flags For Heroes Campaign

*PICK A HERO

For the past few years, the Rotary Club of Cheat Lake has set up over 400 American Flags in our community, giving people the opportunity to sponsor the flags in recognition of heroes in their lives. Our Flags will go up just before Memorial Day and will remain in place until after the 4th of July. This campaign gives you the opportunity to recognize a military veteran, teacher, or person who you have always considered your hero.

*WHY SPONSOR A FLAG?

Funds raised through this event support the community service grants funded by the Rotary Club of Cheat Lake for benefit of organizations serving children and families in the Cheat Lake Area. Flags for Heroes is a national program, successfully hosted by various Rotary clubs all over the country. We are thrilled to join them in honoring the heroes from our community and beyond.

*WHERE CAN I SEE THE FLAGS?

Over 400 flags at three locations around Morgantown.

    1. along Don Knotts Boulevard

    2. at the intersection of the WVU Creative Arts Center

    3. in front of Clear Mountain Bank and United Bank at the entrance to the Glenmark Center 

*HOW DO I SPONSOR A FLAG?

We are asking for a donation of $50 to sponsor a flag

You can print a flag form here, fill it out, include a check for each hero (make check payable to Rotary Club of Cheat Lake “Heroes”) you sponsor and mail it to Rotary Club of Cheat Lake, P.O. Box 423, Dellslow, WV 26531
